EVENTS

Hill Country Nudists will hold at least one event per month. During the warm months, HCN will try to schedule 2 or more events per month. Please check back for ongoing updates to these events.

If you are a member and can host or organize an event, please contact our activities director or use the contact information here.

Unless otherwise stated, all events are for HCN members and their guests only and are NUDE events. If you are not a member but wish to join, please visit our membership page.

REGULAR EVENTS

Here are the events that happen on a regular basis:

• HCN Board Meetings - 4th Monday of each month 7:00 PM (subject to change) - Club members may attend the montly board meetings and participate in shaping the club's agenda as the Board of Directors plans and organize events, etc. Until further notice, the meetings will be held held at Ted and Beth's home. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. It's always a mini-potluck so try and bring a snack or dish.

• Intrduction To Nudism and Naturism - 3rd Tuesday of each Month 7:00 PM (subject to change) - HCN conducts a monthly introductory meeting that is open to the public and is provided to provide information for those who are interested in learning about nudism and the various nudist organizations, both local and national. These are held on the third Tuesday of the month at Mr. Natural's Restaurant, 2414 S. Lamar in Austin. this is a clothed event.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Here are some of our other upcoming events for 2008:

• May 16 @ noon - Hippie Hollow Fun Day - Lets meet at our favorite place on the lake. We will be near the second bathroom building.

• May 18 @ 7:00 p.m. - HCN Board of Directors Meeting - Your Board of Directors at work. All members may attend. Make your voices heard! If you plan to attend please RSVP and bring a small dish to share in a mini-potluck.

• May 19 @ 7:00 p.m. - Introduction to Nudism and Naturism - Its always great to have existing members as well as interested newcomers on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

• May 30 @ TBD - Rum Tasting and Pot Luck - Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum. Lets have a pot luck dinner. There will also be rum tasting so bring your assorted rum. Who can come up with the best pirate outfit?

• May 21 - Flipside. Though not an official event, some of our members attend the flipside event www.burningflipside.com.

• June 13 - Tie Dye party - Get on the list quick if you want to dye clothing, participation is limited but for everyone else there is pot luck party and corquet.

• June 20 @ TBD p.m. - Summer Solstace/Stargazing/Body Painting - Weather permitting we will be stargazing so bring your scopes but there will still be fun if not.

• June TBD @ 5:30 p.m. - Happy Hour - This month we plan to meet up at __TBD__. This will be a clothed event where interested folks can meet some of our members in a casual public setting

• July 11 @ 2:00 p.m. - Hippie Hollow Skinny Dip Day - How many people can we get to skinny dip during nude recreation week?

• July TBD - Pot Luck - Anyone for a pot luck dinner?

• September 26 - The HCN boat party - Mark your calendars now! The famous annual HCN boat party is on once again.

RECENT PAST EVENTS

Here are some recent events held in 2008:

• May 15 - Happy Hour - This is a clothed event where interested folks can meet some of our members in a casual public setting. This month we met up at the Draft House Pub.

• April 27 - HCN Board of Directors Meeting - Your Board of Directors at work.

• April 25 - Eeyores Birthday. Some of our group met at the Eeyores Birthday celebration in Peace park. This is a mostly clothed event though some go body painted top free.

• April 24 - Happy Hour - A clothed event where interested folks can meet some of our members in a casual public setting. we met up at the Mesa Ranch near I-35 and Oltorf.

• April 21 - Introduction to Nudism and Naturism

• April 18 - 12th Annual 5k Bare Buns Run at Star Ranch. See their upcoming events on http://www.starranch.net/

• April 4 - Barton Creek Clean Up

• March 30 - HCN Board of Directors Meeting - Your Board of Directors at work.

• March 28 - Peruvian Cooking Night. - We were shown how to prepare an authentic Peruvian meal that was wonderful. For members the March/April newsletter may contain recipies.

• March 24 - Introduction to Nudism and Naturism.

• March 14 - St Patties Party.

• February 27 - Happy Hour - We met up at the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium

• February 23 - HCN Board of Directors Meeting - Your Board of Directors at work.

• February 21 - Picture party and potluckMembers brought their photos to show and share.

• February 17 - Introduction to Nudism and Naturism

• February 1 - Superbowl Party at Pauls.

• January 31 - Carnival Brazillio. Not an official HCN event but some members meet up and attend the crazy Brazillian Carnival party.

• January 26 - HCN Board of Directors Meeting - Your Board of Directors at work.

• January 20 - Introduction to Nudism and Naturism

• January 17 - HCN Nude Yoga House Party. A member hosted an evening of Spa and nude yoga and a potluck as well.

• January 10 - Movie night. Pot luck and a movie.

• January 4 - Christmas Tree Recycling. We helped out Zilker park by greeting people and tossing trees as part of our good public relations with the parks.
