MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to all, regardless of ethnicity, gender or marital status. Prospective members are required to participate in two activities prior to being voted in for membership in Hill Country Nudists (HCN), one of which the perspective member has to be nude. This gives you a chance to meet the membership and find out more about our activities as we acquaint ourselves with you.
We are associated with the two major national nudist organizations, the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) and The Naturist Society (TNS). Membership in Hill Country Nudists includes membership in either of these organizations, with the choice left to the member. Membership with AANR includes the monthly newspaper of the AANR, "The Bulletin", discounts at nude resorts, and legal representation to protect our right to recreate in the nude. AANR is also developing a wide variety of membership benefits from insurance to travel discounts. Prospective members also have the option of joining HCN with membership in TNS which includes the excellent quarterly magazine "N" , discounts at nude resorts and legal representation in defending our rights. All HCN members receive the monthly newsletter of HCN, "Bare Facts", that covers previous activities, national nude news and a calendar of events for the club.
| In order to become a member of Hill Country Nudists one must: | |

Attend two HCN functions. At at least one of these functions, the prospective member must be nude. Prospective members may wish to attend our monthly "Introduction to Nude Recreation" meetings and then attend a later nude event. |
| 2. | Next, the member must submit a completed HCN application along with a check for the appropriate first year annual dues. Cost of membership can be found at the bottom of this page. All annual dues are submitted to HCN and any AANR and/or TNS memberships will be processed through HCN. |

The board will vote on all prospective members who have met the requirements stated in steps 1 & 2. The new members will then be contacted, usually by phone, and, if desired by the new member, will be placed on a membership e-mail and/or snail mail list.

MONTHLY INTRODUCTORY MEETINGS
Hill Country Nudists holds a monthly "Introduction to Nude Recreation" informational meeting intended for the general public. The meetings are currently being held at Mr. Natural, 2414 S. Lamar on the third Tuesday of each month. The meeting time is 7 PM. No reservations are required.
These meetings serve to provide an informal, clothed forum where all of your questions can be answered. Find out what you have been missing and what activities are in store.
Please pick a date that will be convenient for you. If you tell us that you are coming, we will look for you, inquiry@hillcountrynudists.com.
COST OF MEMBERSHIP
| Membership in HCN is paid on an annual basis. Cost of membership can be calculated by following one of four steps: | ||||||||||
| 1. | Proof of membership in AANR or TNS will only require an Hill County Nudists annual dues of $25.00. If one cannot prove membership in either national organization, then one must join AANR or TNS through Hill Country Nudists. | |||||||||
| 2. | Without proof of membership in AANR or TNS, the annual cost of membership can be determined by choosing either an AANR OR TNS membership. Only one AANR OR TNS membership is required to join HCN. With an AANR membership, one will receive the monthly publication, "The Bulletin", from AANR and a membership card from AANR. With a TNS membership, one will receive the quarterly publication, "N" magazine, from TNS and a membership card from TNS. | |||||||||

| 3. | Some members choose to join all three organizations, but not required: HCN, AANR & TNS. With this choice, one will receive the monthly publication, "The Bulletin", from AANR, a membership card from AANR, the quarterly publication, "N" magazine, from TNS, a membership card from TNS and the HCN monthly publication, "The Bare Facts." | 4. | Though we recommend supporting AANR or TNS we do have a special rate for full time students. This student rate for Hill County Nudists annual dues of $20.00 and you will not be required to join AANR or TNS. Proof of full time student status required. | |||||||||
